Are these riddles appropriate for a middle school classroom?
Yes, all 45 are classroom safe. No innuendo and nothing gross, just wordplay and logic that respects how sharp sixth to eighth graders actually are.
How hard are middle school riddles compared to kids riddles?
Noticeably harder. Riddles for younger kids describe an object; these add misdirection, trick math and wording traps. Expect students to argue over a few answers, which is half the point.
