Play a free colour memory game right in your browser. Each level flashes a sequence of colours; watch it, then tap the palette back in the right order. Every sequence you recall raises a new landmark in your Rainbow Ridge.

How to play Color Recall

  1. Press PLAY to enter Rainbow Ridge and open your first sequence.
  2. Watch the colours light up one at a time. Do not tap yet.
  3. When the palette brightens, tap the colours back in the order asked for.
  4. A wrong tap costs nothing. The sequence simply plays again.
  5. Stuck? Use a Hint to flash the next colour you owe.
  6. Recall the whole sequence to earn stars and build a landmark.

Three ways to remember

In order
Tap the colours back in the order they appeared.
Backwards
Tap them in reverse. A different job for your memory, not just a harder one.
Ink, not word
The chip shows a colour WORD in a mismatched ink. The ink is the answer.

Good for every age

There is nothing to read and nothing to type, so the game works for young children and for anyone playing in a language other than English. Sequence recall is one of the most direct ways to practise short-term memory, and here a mistake never costs a life, so it stays a calm exercise rather than a test.
