Delete your account and data

This page explains how to permanently delete your account and saved data for Rebus Puzzles (the app on BrainPuzzles, published by LA Games). Playing as a guest creates no account; an account exists only if you signed in with Google or Facebook to save your progress.

How to request deletion

  1. Email contact@brainpuzzles.games with the subject “Delete my account”.
  2. Tell us which sign-in you used (Google or Facebook) and the email address or display name on that account, so we can find and remove the right record.
  3. We confirm and permanently delete your account and all saved game data within 30 days of the request, and email you when it is done.

Playing as a guest (no sign-in)

If you never signed in, your progress lives in your browser's localStorage on your device, tied only to an anonymous id. Clearing your browser data (or uninstalling the app) removes the local copy. To also delete the anonymous save row on our server, email us at contact@brainpuzzles.games and we will remove it.

What is deleted

  • Your account record and the display name provided by Google or Facebook.
  • All saved game progress tied to your account: levels, stars, lives, streaks and other in-game state (cross-device cloud save).

We do not collect financial information, contacts, messages, photos, or files, so there is none of that to delete.

What is retained, and for how long

After deletion we may keep only data that cannot identify you or that we are required to keep briefly for security:

  • Aggregate, non-identifying analytics (Google Analytics) that measure things like total visits and pages per session. This is not linked to your account and is not removed by an account deletion because it cannot be traced back to you.
  • Standard hosting logs (for example, IP addresses in our host's server logs) kept for a short period to deliver pages and protect the service, then rotated out. See the Vercel privacy policy.

Your account and saved-game data themselves are deleted within 30 days and are not retained after that.
